Established by native resident Kathy Wofford Romich in June of 2009, Synergy In Action, Inc. currently provides residential services for  participants living in five licensed group homes, four unlicensed AFL’s (Alternative Family Living) as well as community services for participants living in their private homes in Polk and Rutherford Counties.*

The administrative staff brings to the company a combined experience of over eighty years working in the mental health field with the developmentally disabled.

Our name and logo reflect our belief in the power of synergy and our commitment as an organization to work together to achieve greater results.

*Synergy In Action, Inc. is in contract with Western Highlands Network who is the Local Management Entity (LME) that provides services in eight surrounding counties of W.N.C.  SIA, Inc. is also a Medicaid/NC Innovations provider in the state of North Carolina.
